British-French Speed Business Networking Meeting - Warsaw

On the seventh day of Poland’s presidency of the EU Council BPCC invited its Members to an event organised in a spirit which reflected the EU mission – building ever close co-operation between the united nations of Europe.

Members of the BPCC and the CCIFP had a unique opportunity to establish new business contacts through networking with representatives of British and French companies operating in Poland. Some might have eventually develop to co-operation on wider European or even global scale.

The high turn-out is in itself proof of how important this event has become over the years.

The International Oktoberfest in Wrocław is one of the most significant international events in Poland and one of the largest and most prestigious business events in Lower Silesia. This year the organisers - The British Polish Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland and Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce were partnered by the Scandinavian-Polish, Irish, Belgian and Polish-Spanish Chambers of Commerce. The goal of the event is to integrate high and medium-level managers from members companies of the above chambers, their clients, business partners and other befriended companies from Lower Silesia.

The tradition of Oktoberfest, otherwise known as German hop harvest, dates back almost 200 years. To bring this world-famous event to Kraków for the first time, the BPCC teamed up with the AHK (the German Chamber of Commerce in Poland).

This evening, rich in tradition, spontaneity and fun, flowing with fine beers, was an excellent opportunity for local companies to promote their products, services and to meet new potential business partners.

Guests were surprised with many attractions such as concerts by two orchestras with 80 people on the stage, burlesque by famous actress Joanna Bartel, fantastic beers, excellent traditional cuisine and amazing lottery prizes.
